Battle Plan

100F days are going to hit any day now. I have a summer menu written out in case the heat puts me down to fall back on.The v/tion s/bk will be the last major project till the heat dies down in Oct.
2. Mending pile next! Allen been patient on this. Got to get the machine set up. the pile is in my mission s/bk. I can't drag the box out till I get the clothes out of it.
3. H&J's b-day card needs to get done. I want to try a new idea of sewing fabric & paper on my machine. I got a piece of charming Hello-Kitty fabric from New Zealand I want to make a card with. They both love Hello Kitty!!Again This is a card needs to be done ahead.I was down the week of Mother's Day & Mark H.'s b-day. All Allen had to do was go & take them down off the bulletin board. I never know when my body is going to throw a curve ball @ me.
4 I did get the ceramic S/W Indian piece done for Allen. I need to go back & touch up the branches of it w/ some brown acrylic paint. A year late for our anniversary. @ least we almost had another year.
5. Print out some of the digi's i have been surfing for on the web to color in my bdrm when it gets too hot.I have been looking for free dig's to color to save money. I put them away to make cards when it's cooler. some of the images I want to make for my GI card route.I luv coloring w/ my Prism color pencils. I got some watercolor paper to print some on so I can use my w/color pencils Allen gave me.

FINALLY I finished s/bk Forest's of all the 15 b-days. I didn't get the last 4 b-days done to give to him when he came @ T-giving time. After 5 mo's of having Forest's birthday pic's in a red envelope sitting on my table & a stash of paper etc sitting on the dehumidifer,the stash is gone!!!
Scrapbooking is like a puzzle to me. It seems like I have to get all the pieces together 1st. It seems like it all has to gel together before I can plunge into the project. If I'm stressed out or have other deadlines to meet I can't scrap book. I can come up w/ideas easily enough for my cards. It's been 2 mo's sinceI last s/bk this project. I even had the paper picked out to make mats w/it to go w/ the photo's etc. I had the color theme picked out for each year w/paper clips & notes for what year etc.
I finally made myself sit down w/my lightbox on,start making mats for the photo's. This winter has really made my hands hurt. Somedays I can't do things that take coordination etc. It rained all day Wed.,it was gray,cloudy etc.I lose those days w/pain & fatigue.I put in 2 big sessions this week so I could put the pieces under the book press after using Yes Glue to dry overnite.
Last nite after sleeping for awhile in my recliner, I went into my room. I wanted to make sure pages weren't stuck together. after looking @ them I decides I wanted to put Stickles on some of the places. The pages have to dry s/where so the Stickles doesn't get smeared before it dries. I usually do this so it can dry overnite w/o smearing the wet Stickles.I then wanted to take pic's of them to upload on Flickr. 1 page still have some needed embellishments to balance out the page.
I have any l/over stickers back in my sticker n/book. Scraps are in my file folder. Whole sheets of paper are back in their spot.
My effort on cleaning up my room & swapping items in my stash has paid off. I forgot about the b/ful colorful fibers I got last fall in 2 swaps.I can find things now when I get in the creative mode wherre e/thing starts flying.Now I don't have to go digging thru items thinking I kanow I have this s/where. that really stresses me & I lose my creative edge when I can't locate the needed item.

Laura's book

Her baby pic's are about 2/3 done w/ journaling. Used up all my old baby stickers,girls & words on the sides of the journal block. Got to cut out 6 more strips. Have to have Allen stamp the journal block this time, Last time it put my hands out. When I got my hands adjusted it took 2 days for my hands to stop hurting.Debating on whether I want to put Walnut distress ink on the edges.

I finally got to s/bk my son's b-day pic's. I got 3rd & 4th bdaypic's s/bk. I got to do 2nd & 5th b-day next. I've lost his 1st year pic's. My MIL is going to send hers to me.
I've been working on journaling Laura's baby pic's .I put my right wrist & hand while stamping the journal stamp. I'm maybe about a 1/3 through. I have to cut some more cardstock for strips to journal on. I'm debating whether or not use Distress ink on the edges
These are their Christmas presents,I need to have them done early. All my kids are coming for Thanksgiving. I want to send them home w/them to save money on postage.

I like to know who you are. U have visited my site couple of times. Please leave me a comment. I lived in B.C 1973-75. I was in the Vancouver area twice. I luv going into Vancouver when I 1st came to B. C. I remember my trip to Hudson Bay Store,walking thru the streets.
Also my 1st trip to a bakery & having a hot sausage roll.A s a Texan @ 23 yrs old this was a culture experience I have never forgotton. I luv the Canadian people. This experience has been a highlight of my life
